We are committed to making more wholehearted followers of Jesus beginning in Florida and continuing to do so around the world. As we passionately love God, we desire others to experience the transformational presence of God as well.

We have been called to create healthy churches that transform their communities through multiplying converts, disciples, leaders and congregations who passionately love God and sacrificially love others.

We believe in the fundamental doctrines of the evangelical Protestant church. We believe in the Scripture, the entire Bible, Old and New Testaments, as the inspired, infallible Word of God.

We believe that God is eternally existent in three separate persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe that God the Father is the personal, transcendent, and sovereign creator of all things.

We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human, that He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, provided for the atonement of our sins by His death on the Cross, was bodily resurrected by the power of the Holy Spirit, ascended back to the right hand of God the Father, and ever lives to make intercession for us.

After He ascended to Heaven, Jesus poured out His Holy Spirit on the believers in Jerusalem, enabling them to fulfill His command to preach the Gospel to the entire world, an obligation shared by all believers today.

We believe that all people are by nature separated from God and responsible for their own sin, but that salvation, redemption, and forgiveness of sin are freely offered to all by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. When a person repents of sin and accepts Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord, trusting Him to save, that person is immediately born again, their spirit is immediately regenerated by the Holy Spirit, and all his/her sins are forgiven, and that person becomes a Child of God, destined to spend eternity with the Lord.

The Church of God movement that we are associated with comes out of a movement that grew into existence in 1880, when a small group of followers of Christ became frustrated with the churches in America. They felt that churches of their day were exclusive and divisive of Christianity. They believed that all churches should seek to be unified or at least in fellowship with each other. They tried to repeatedly take down the walls that were dividing denominations from each other. They refused to write a creed, because creeds separated groups from each other, so they simply said that the Bible was the basis for this movement. This still remains one of the hallmarks of this movement with headquarters in Anderson, Indiana.

This same group of followers of Christ also struggled with Christianity of their day, which taught that one could become a Christian, and it would really have little impact in the way they lived their life. They felt that if one comes into a personal relationship with God, through Christ, then it would truly change the way they lived every aspect of their life. This transformation is personal and yet has many community implications.

Today we continue to practice those two critical Biblical truths. We are a people whom God has called to passionately love God and sacrificially love others. When Jesus was asked what was the greatest commandment, he responded…”Love the Lord your God with all of your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.” (Matthew 22.37) Everything we do flows out of this identity of who we are.
