Have you ever watched a video of yourself speaking or of your golf swing? It can be painful to see ourselves from an outside perspective. In our staff meeting this past week we discussed how people perceive me. Ed Koch, State Credentials Coach, said that often people see me as goal oriented and focused on getting the task completed. They see me as being strategic in bringing about missional direction. Outsiders see me, as more of a confrontational person who is not afraid to address something that I see is wrong. None of that sounded bad, but as I probed a little, I was disappointed by what I didn’t hear. Nowhere did I hear that people perceive me as a man whose life and ministry is founded upon my walk with God.

For the many Florida Churches that have partnered through the State Ministry, Helping Hands in Motion, JBoedeker Ministries,
Inc. or Global Missions in Anderson; we wanted to give you an update on the fruit of your ministry in India and in Bangladesh.
The ministry has gone beyond what we dreamed of in the beginning. First in Sikkim, a former Buddhist Kingdom, where we
have built a discipleship center, the percentage of Christians has grown from 2% to 15% in 10 years. The Church of God is the
largest church in Sikkim having over 30 churches ministering to over 4500 people. When we started in 1998 there were a handful of people meeting in a small house.
The Church of God (Anderson) has a significant presence in the country of Haiti, with 233 congregations and 32,000 constituents. Your gracious donation to the disaster relief fund will be used to support this crisis through the replenishment of those funds initially advanced that provided an immediate assistance to those affected by the situation. Additional funds received above and beyond the initial disbursements will be forwarded on to provide additional assistance to those in need.
